Opposition parties at loggerheads — Pairin

KOTA KINABALU: The fact that Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) and Keadilan Rakyat Party (PKR) are not able to achieve a consensus to be opposition in Sabah shows they cannot be trusted to administer the state, said Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan.

Therefore, Pairin, who is also Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) president, said the people, specifically the fence sitters, must make the right assessment regarding all the BN government’s efforts and approaches.

“Whatever happens within the other side (the opposition) are things that we can only observe and we will discuss the effects during BN meetings,” he told reporters at a Chinese New Year open house organised by PBS here yesterday. — Bernama
