MUKAH: A total of 4,059 recipients from Dalat were happy to receive the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M 2.0).
A recipient, Moh Beki, 70, said such aid was very good because it helped to lessen the burden of the less fortunate.
“Besides, at my age, I cannot work much anymore, but with the aid I am able to afford my daily expenses,” he said.
Meanwhile, 73-year-old Zainal Bohari said he was very happy with the money because it would help lessen the burden of his family.
“Through the aid given by the government I will be able to help support my family,” said the father of seven.
Another recipient, Regina Pera, 59, thanked the government for its concern, especially for those who are less fortunate.
Mukah MP Datuk Seri Muhammad Leo Toyad and Dalat district officer Yussibnosh Balo were also present at the distribution ceremony.
