Najib in Sabah for two-day visit

KOTA KINABALU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived here yesterday for a two-day visit to Sabah, including attending two events with the people in two districts.

Najib arrived in a special aircraft at Terminal 2 of the Kota Kinabalu International Airport at 6.45pm.

He was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

Receiving him were Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman and wife Datin Seri Faridah Tussin, deputy chief ministers, members of the state cabinet, heads of federal and state departments, and community leaders.

Najib later attended a meeting with the Sabah Umno Liaison Committee.

Today, the prime minister will be at a gathering with the people in

Beaufort before attending a similar gathering with Papar residents.

Najib is expected to also launch the state-level Nadi Kasih programme in Tuaran before leaving for Kuala Lumpur. — Bernama
