SARIKEI: Head of State (TYT) Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Muhammad Salahuddin and wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Norkiah arrived here for a brief Chinese New Year visit yesterday afternoon.

While here, Their Excellencies and entourage visited the Chinese New Year open house hosted by Pemanca Frederick Wong Kung Kuong, Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industries Sarikei branch chairman Wong Leong Ming and Bulat Nursery managing director Wong Hoon Sing.

In the TYT’s entourage were Social Development Minister Tan Sri William Mawan and his wife, Information, Communication and Culture Deputy Minister Datuk Joseph Salang, Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Office (Promotion of Technical Education) Datu Len Talif Salleh, Sarikei MP Ding Kuong Hiing, Daro assemblyman Dr Murni Suhaili and Resident Michael Dawi Alli.
