SIBU: Burglars carted away eight batteries worth RM2,000 from four lorries parked at the back lane of a factory in Lanang Road on Saturday.
A worker on night shift found two batteries missing from a lorry after he failed to start the lorry at 2am.
Later, he and his colleague found six batteries on three other lorries gone too.
They said there were 30 lorries parked at the back lane.
Two guards on duty said they were in the dark about the theft.
A police report was lodged later in the morning.
