MBSM launches ‘myMBFS’ iPhone and iPad App

KUCHING: Following the launch of Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia (MBSM) in November 2012 to provide automotive finance and insurance solutions, MBSM now takes a step closer by expanding its digital footprint via a new iPhone and iPad App – ‘myMBFS’.

According to its press release yesterday, all iPhone and iPad users were able to locate the nearest Mercedes-Benz dealer through the app, a customer service representative or to determine a monthly payment amount on a vehicle of their choice and see the current promotions from MBSM.

“The app is a natural extension of our digital presence, designed to assist customers in choosing a finance and insurance product for their selected Mercedes-Benz car,” said MBSM managing director Hilke Janssen.

He further pointed out that the myMBFS was also the first multifunctional Mercedes-Benz Financial Services app, which was available in all markets of Daimler Financial Services’ Africa and Asia-Pacific region.

The app was jointly developed in the US and Singapore, and was fully localised to country specific requirements, he added.

“Further developing the online presence for MBSM in the app world is yet another step in a suite of digital initiatives aimed at the significant segment of our customers which uses mobile technology as their preferred method of communication,” Janssen said.

The myMBFS app is available for free on the Apple store and is compatible with devices running iOS 5.0 or higher.
