MELAKA: Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam yesterday described Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim’s decision to suspend the implementation of all federal roads and infrastructure projects in the state as unprofessional and emotional.

He said this was because the decision would incur substantial loss to the country and prevent the people from enjoying balanced development.

“As a state government, we have to take into consideration the welfare of the people and not to be too emotional in governing the state because at the end of the day, it is the people who will be affected most,” he told reporters after launching the Small and Medium Industry Festival 2013 here today.
