BUTTERWORTH: An Indonesian woman told the Sessions Court here yesterday that she had sex with her boyfriend before lodging a police report that she was raped by three policemen on Nov 9 last year.

The 26-year-old woman said this during examination-in-chief by deputy public prosecutor Suhaimi Ibrahim in the trial of three policemen charged with raping her.

She also admitted to having sex with her 52-year-old boyfriend on several other occasions since the past eight months.

During the proceeding, the prosecution produced four exhibits, comprising two black and white blouses, and a blue and pink underwear, which the woman said was hers.

She also related to the court the chronology of events from her arrest by the police until the police identification parade which was held for her to identify the suspects.

However, her testimony on the alleged rape incident was held in closed-doors before the judge and a representative from the Indonesian Embassy.

In the dock were Corporal Nik Sin Mat Lazim, 33, Constable Remy Anak Dana, 25, and Constable Syahiran Romli, 21.

They are charged with committing the offence at Room 4 of the Perai police barrack here between 6.40am and 7.30am on Nov 9, 2012.

The three policemen are also charged with committing unnatural sex with the woman at the same place, time and date.

Nik Sin and Remy are represented by lawyer Abdul Roni Rahman, while lawyer R.S.N Rayer represented Syahiran. The hearing before judge Meor Sulaiman Ahmad Tarmizi continues today. — Bernama
