SRI AMAN: The people should give BN a strong mandate in the coming general election so that the country could continue to benefit from the good policies of the coalition-led government, said Sri Aman MP Masir Kujat yesterday.

He stressed that many good and existing development projects could be continued if BN could form a strong government.

Addressing the meet-the-people session at Rumah Renang, Rawan Tanjung Bijat near here, he, therefore called on the people to give their undivided support to BN.

“The existing government should be continued to prevent any hiccup in the implementation of development projects which are meant to benefit the people.

“As such, it is essential to pick leaders who are capable and able to help the people, from both urban and rural areas,” he said, adding the BN government had done a remarkable job in developing the state.

He reminded the people to be wary of the so-called information disseminated by the opposition as it was merely the tactics of the opposition to fish for the votes.

Masir also announced a RM5,000 grant to the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of the longhouse.

Also present at the event organised by the special branch (Jasa) Sri Aman division was Assistant Minister for Agriculture (Research and Marketing) Datuk Mong Dagang.
