KUCHING: A senior citizen died suddenly from a suspected heart attack during a massage session at a reflexology centre in Padungan here yesterday afternoon.
The deceased, a 63-year-old surnamed Yeo, was receiving a massage around 2pm when he suffered the fatal heart attack and died on the massage bed.
The shocked masseuse immediately notified her employer, who in turn contacted the police.
Paramedics were summoned to the scene to certify the death, and police later transported the body to the Sarawak General Hospital for a post mortem to determine the exact cause of Yeo’s demise.
Police have classified the incident as sudden death.
