BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The closing ceremony of the Raudhah Al-Zikir workshop was held yesterday at the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital. The guest of honour was Ustaz Haji Abd Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, Deputy Director of Mosque Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Borneo Bulletin reported.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque Officer. In his welcoming remark, Awang Zulkifli bin Haji Murawati emphasised on the importance of Zikir to be put into practice. He hoped that the workshop would be beneficial to the participants. The ceremony continued with the certificate presentation to the 35 participants who had attended the workshop. Also present were Awang Haji Amir bin Haji Masri, Acting Deputy Director of Mosque Affairs Department, senior officials and ‘staff members of Mosque Affairs Department and participants of the Raudhah Al-Zikir workshop.
