MIRI: Dewan Permai Badminton Team will be organising the 2013 Open Bumiputera Team Badminton tournament at Permai Badminton Hall near By-Pass Road here from 22 to March 24.
Permai Badminton Hall president Ariffin Arbi has disclosed details of the tournament.
There will be two categories – Men Open and Men Veteran Open.
Each team will comprise one manager, four male players and also four veteran players.
Age limit for the veteran is 90 years, combining the age of both players, with the minimum age of 40 years.
The champion and runner up will collect cash prizes of RM1,000 and RM500 respectively.
They will also receive a challenge trophy each.
The third place, prize money valued at RM 250, will go to the two teams who lose in the semi finals.
A registration fee of RM250 per team has to be submitted together with the entry form.
