KOTA KINABALU: A local man suffered a broken right leg and other injuries when his car collided with a compact pick-up truck at the Bukit Padang traffic light intersection yesterday.
It is believed that the victim, in his 30s, was driving the Perodua Myvi towards Bukit Padang from the city centre while the Toyota Hilux Vigo was heading for Lintas from Kolombong when the crash occurred about 5am.
The victim was taken in an ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The driver of the Vigo was not hurt.
A team of police were at the scene to carry out investigation.
