KUALA LUMPUR: The president of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Al-Ehsan, Datuk Seri Muhammad Ridzwan Sulaiman, who surrendered at the Ampang District Police head quarters here today, to facilitate the Sabah armed intrusion investigation, has been detained under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012.
Ampang Jaya police chief ACP Amiruddin Jamaluddin said Muhammad Ridhwan was detained for further investigations after his statement was recorded.
“We have detained him under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act and taken him to the Selangor Police Head Quarters,” he told Bernama here.
This brings the number of arrests under the Act for the case to 122. – Bernama
