SIBU: A widow collapsed and died yesterday morning when cleaning her husband’s tomb for the Ching Ming festival.
The deceased was identified as 55 -year-old Moh Su Eng from Deshon Road.
The 9.30am incident at a cemetery in Bukit Aup occurred when the woman, who brought along a relative’s daughter, was cleaning her husband’s tomb.
Moh was said to have died shortly after she collapsed and fainted. Her family members and relatives went to the scene after being alerted.
A relative said Moh suffers from high blood pressure.
An ambulance arrived and medical personnel pronounced Moh dead at the cemetery.
A relative sent Moh’s body to the hospital at 10.30am.
