KANGAR: Perlis Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Md Isa Sabu advised the public not to believe claims that the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates list for the 13th General Election had been released.
He said BN chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Razak has not announced the list and no one in Perlis has knowledge of its contents.
Commenting on the public’s unrest over the candidates list which was purportedly leaked to a certain party, Md Isa, who is Perlis BN chairman, advised people, particularly Umno members, to ignore the rumours.
“It will be chaotic if people believe such rumours,” he said after launching the Together With PNB Group programme at Taman Datuk Jaafar here yesterday. — Bernama
