BOSTON, Massachusetts: Two of Boston’s pro sports teams postponed games due to the manhunt which concluded with the capture late Friday of the remaining suspect in the deadly Boston Marathon bombings.

The Boston Red Sox were to open a three-game Major League Baseball series with the Kansas City Royals at Fenway Park on Friday, while the Boston Bruins had been scheduled to face the Pittsburgh Penguins in a National
Hockey League contest at the Boston Garden arena the same day.

The Bruins matchup with Pittsburgh has been rescheduled for Saturday afternoon in Boston.

Pittsburgh had been set to host the Buffalo Sabres late Saturday, but that game has now been moved to Tuesday.

The Bruins officially announced the new time for the Penguins’ game after police arrested the second major suspect in the blasts which killed three people and injured more than 180.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was captured near downtown Boston in the suburb of Watertown late Friday, less than 24 hours after his alleged accomplice and older brother Tamerlan was killed in a gun battle with police.
