KUCHING: Sarawak will miss the services of gifted midfielder Guy Bwele as he is still serving a two-match suspension after collecting six yellow cards.
The Cameroonian was also on the bench for last week’s clash against Perlis.
FIXTURES
Friday, April 26 (Kick off at 4.45pm unless stated otherwise)
UiTM FC vs SARAWAK
KL Pos M’sia vs Kedah
Perlis vs KL SPA
Sabah vs Sime Darby – 4.15pm
Johor vs NS Betaria – 8.45pm
PDRM vs Kuala Lumpur
Bwele will be joined by team captain Shahrol Saperi who is also under suspension.
Goalkeeper Sani Annuar Kamsani has been declared fit but replacement Saiful Amar Sudar’s good performance against Perlis may give head coach Robert Alberts a selection head ache.
“I have yet to decide on which of the two will start on Friday (tomorrow).
“I’m still keeping my options open for now,” he said.
Sarawak will face UiTM FC away tomorrow seeking to maintain their unbeaten streak in the Premier League.
The Crocs’ previous encounter with UiTM FC at home on Jan 11 ended with a 5-0 win.
Alberts does not want his players to get too over-confident when the two two teams meet this time at the UiTM Stadium, Shah Alam.
“UiTM have registered good results lately and we hope that the team will go all out when we play them,” he said.
The head coach is looking forward to Sarawak collecting three points so that the Crocs can close the points gap with league leaders Sime Darby FC.
The current top teams in the Premier League will clash at the Stadium Negeri on May 10.
