KUCHING: Sarawak Workers Party (SWP) president Larry Sng rubbishes talks that the party is now Pakatan Rakyat-friendly.

“Rubbish. I say rubbish. My stand has been very clear from the very beginning that we are BN-friendly and that has not changed until today…our position does not change from day one,” he said. He stated this at a media conference at the party’s headquarters here yesterday.

The state PKR, in a statement issued yesterday by information chief Vernon Kedit, has accused SWP and its campaign workers of claiming to be Pakatan-friendly in all the six seats the party has fielded its candidates.

Vernon also called on SWP leaders to declare their individual stand as well as their party’s stand immediately and publicly and deny these allegations.

A Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) senior leader also commented, saying that if such an allegation is true, it only goes to show SWP had been taking voters in Sarawak as fools.
