KUCHING: Santubong incumbent Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar will set up a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for every development project that will be implemented in the constituency in the next five years.
Wan Junaidi said that the KPI is established as one of the important elements to ensure every project to be implemented in the area will meet specifications and deadline.
“There are many development projects in the pipeline for Santubong constituency.
“I am satisfied with the development projects under Santubong constituency so far, but this KPI will be our effort to ensure the projects implemented will meet the standard and be completed within the time frame,” he said when met at his walkabout at Kampung Bako Hijrah here yesterday.
He hoped that the people would give him the mandate for the next five years to carry out more development projects.
“It will be easy for us to get the allocation if we win with a big majority as this shows the support of the people here. I also hope the people will be sincere in supporting the Barisan Nasional government so that all the development projects could be implemented effectively.”
Meanwhile, Demak Laut assemblyman Dr Hazland Abang Hipni said that BN would also focus on improving human capital through education.
