Voting for DAP, PKR and PAS a loss – Musa

TAWAU: “No Hong” (no chance) for Tawau and Kalabakan to develop if the voters choose Democratic Action party (DAP), Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) and Parti Islam SeMalaysia (PAS) in the 13th General Election.

Barisan Nasional (BN) Sabah chairman Datuk Seri Musa Aman said Datuk Seri Najib Razak is a very good prime minister and when he (Musa) met Najib for allocations he (Najib) always approved.

Musa said unlike BN that could work together, DAP, PKR and PAS could not agree and work together on candidates and who to lead.

“It is wrong and a loss to us if we vote for PKR, DAP or PAS. First, they quarreled on who will be candidates, now prime minister. Now in Sabah all of them want to become chief minister. What is important is peace, more investors and developments. Every body makes business, everybody is happy,” he said.

Thus, he called on the Tawau people to choose BN’s candidates for the Tawau parliamentary and Sri Tanjung seats as they are new faces, hardworking and will be able to bring a lot of changes to Tawau.

Musa asked the voters to give BN’s Tawau parliamentary candidate Datuk Mary Yap and Sri Tanjung candidate Fung Len Fui a change to serve the people.

“I want the people to support me, believe me, they are very hardworking and capable. We have very capable candidates, veteran and new faces,” he said when introducing BN candidates for Kalabakan and Tawau to the audience at a restaurant here yesterday.

“What has former Sri Tanjung assemblyman Jimmy Wong from DAP done for the last five years?” asked Musa.

“I do not look down on him, but he could not do anything. He will not meet me at my office. You give your vote to DAP, what for?” he stated.

Musa said DAP could only talk at the State Legislative Assembly and there is no advantage if the voters elect DAP or PKR.

“The support for BN is overwhelming during every visit I made. Sabah people are smart. They know who to support. If you do not vote for BN, there will be no development. Vote for BN, there will be a lot of development and allocation,” he said.

Musa added Tawau had no developments in the past five years and urged the people not to repeat it again as BN has a new face in Mary and Fung from Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS).
