Chin’s billboard was removed and thrown into a drain and replaced with a PAS billboard.
TAWAU: Datuk Chin Chee Syn, one of the three independent candidates vying for the Merotai state seat, has expressed disappointment against Pakatan Rakyat members or supporters for allegedly removing his billboard and replacing it with the the opposition coalition’s billboard at Merotai Besar, Simpang Tiga, near here.
Chin lodged a police report yesterday after he found that his billboard had been removed and thrown into the nearby drain in the area.
He said the police had gone to the site to take some pictures and conduct investigation.
He described such rogue attitude would create a feeling of antipathy among the residents in Merotai Besar here against the opposition.
