TELANG USAN: Barisan Nasional (BN) development programmes in the Baram parliamentary constituency may be abandoned should the opposition win the seat, said Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau.

He said the BN has many well-planned projects currently taking place in the constituency.

“Every project that we’ve carried out throughout Baram over the past five years and projects that are still underway are all BN initiatives to improve the standard of living of the people,” he said during a campaign rally in Long Panai on Tuesday.

Among the projects he cited was the construction of the new Long Panai school, which would ensure that every child has access to quality education even in the rural area.

“The construction work of this new school is still underway, but the project may be abandoned should the people choose not to vote for BN,” he said.

Among those campaigning with Dennis for BN Baram candidate Anyi Ngau were Robert Laing Anyie — a political secretary to the Chief Minister and Telang Usan PBB youth deputy chief Garry Hashim.

The group also went to Logan Bunut, Long Pilah and Long Ikang. #myvote13 #ge13
