KOTA SAMARAHAN: Muara Tuang assemblyman Dato Sri Muhamad Ali Mahmud said the PBB candidate Rabiah Wang with her wide experience from working as a government servant will help her to serve the people in Kota Samarahan better.

“She was a teacher, administration officer, district officer and active in associations and religions activity. This will be useful for her in administration if she wins.”

Ali said in his speech during meet-the-people session at Darul Salam Mosque at Kampung Tanjung Bundong on Wednesday night. The session was also attended by Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan, who is Public Utilities and Environment Minister, and Asajaya assemblyman Abdul Karim Hamzah.

He added that Rabiah, 45, who has served for more than 15 years as a government servant, could better serve the constituency and understand the scenarios and problems faced by the people as she is on home turf.

“It will be easy for her to communicate with the people who should find her more approachable as she is one of them,” he pointed out.

On the constituency, he noted that the number of voters has increased and this shows the support for Barisan Nasional (BN) has strengthened.

“Kota Samarahan constituency is a BN stronghold and the total number of voters here has increased. This shows the people here have reached political maturity and they understand and know what they must do in order to progress.

“Vote for Rabiah so that we can continue with all the development projects in the constituency.” he said in his speech.

Meanwhile, Rabiah said she would continue with the work she had done as a government servant, and that is to help and serve the people. She called for the people to vote for her. #myvote13 #ge13
