KUCHING: Wanita SUPP yesterday expressed their outrage over a sexist remark uttered by state DAP secretary Chong Chieng Jen during a recent interview with the press in Bintulu.

Wanita SUPP chief Amy Tnay said Chong, as a two-term Bandar Kuching MP and Kota Sentosa assemblyman, should not have insulted the feelings of women.

“YB Chong should apologise to all women for uttering a sexist remark. He should not forget that he has family members who are females as well,” she told a press conference here yesterday.

Tnay said the women were particularly insulted with Chong’s statement which was quoted by the Chinese press as: “You will feel scared the first time, but don’t worry about the fierceness and pain. It is normal for the first time. You will feel satisfied and will want it every night.

“Don’t and never feel shy, aunties, all of you are still you and you definitely want it. The same principle applies to the two-party system.
Before you change, you will suffer but after the change, you will feel good. It is as easy like you are changing your underwear.”

To show their discontent over the remark, Wanita SUPP members held a peaceful protest at party headquarters here yesterday. #myvote13 #ge13
