Think of your children’s future – Masidi

RANAU: Malaysians in Sabah are reminded to think of not just their future, but their children and the next generation when casting their votes tomorrow.

“We are voting for our future, our children and Ranau. So I am calling on the people not to gamble our hopes and dreams, and to continue supporting Barisan Nasional on Sunday,” the ruling coalition’s candidate for Karanaan, Datuk Masidi Manjun, told some 600 people during a get-together session with him in Kampung Muhibbah here.

Also present was united Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation Youth chief Arthur Sen, representing BN candidate for Ranau parliamentary seat, Datuk Ewon Ebin.

“Be wise on polling day and vote responsibly. You have the power to choose and your vote counts,” he said.

Masidi also advised the people not to be easily influenced by the false information spread by the opposition, which he described was trying to brainwash the people.

“There have been a lot of projects carried out by BN in the district. We have been working but we do not shout about it because we deliver our services sincerely. So I hope the people will be wise enough to evaluate,” he said.

Meanwhile, five former Sabah State Reform Party (Sabah STAR) members led by Gilbert Leong, crossed over to BN through Umno, and presented their forms to Masidi, who is also the Ranau Umno division chief.
