KUCHING: The Sarawak police have confirmed receiving three reports pertaining to the disappearance of indelible ink, upon being washed with water.

Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said the reports were lodged by three siblings at the Sebuyau police station near here today.

“We received the reports from three siblings who claimed the ink disappeared when they washed their hands after returning from casting their votes at the SK Tuanku Bagus, Batang Sadong.

“The police have referred the cases to the Election Commission,” he told a press conference at the state police contingent headquarters media centre here.

Overall, no untoward incident was reported during polling in the state, said Acryl.

Meanwhile, he said between April 4 and yesterday, Sarawak police received 352 reports involving general election offences. — BERNAMA
