BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Around 140 trainees – 65 males and 74 females – have completed a youth development programme under the Youth Development Centre (PPB), Borneo Bulletin reported.
They took part in a passing out parade at the centre in Kg Tanah Jambu yesterday.
In attendance as the guest of honour was the Acting Assistant Director and Head of PPB Awg Haswand Hj Osman.
Yesterday’s event saw trainees of the Autocad Short Term Course taking part in the passing out parade, as well as the monthly parade of trainees of the Youth Development Programme.
A march past was led by Awg Nur Hashith Dato Paduka Suhaimi, followed by an inspection of the parade by the guest of honour.
Medals and certificates for the Best Autocad Trainee, Disciplined Trainee and Best Parade, Spiritual and Youth Development prograthme trainees were presented by the guest of honour.
Following the parade, a blood donation drive took place at the centre’s gym.
