KUCHING: The ‘Konsert Gegaran Belia’ held in conjunction with the state level Hari Belia at Le’ Park near Civic Centre on Saturday night, thrilled the crowd with popular acts while ‘Paralyzed’ emerged top band.

Despite the slight drizzle, the audience were glued to their seats by various local performers, especially the popular acts of Noh of Hujan and Mizz Nina headlining the concert.
Among other big names who performed were winner of the Anugerah Carta Borneo Era Ir Radzi, Got Soul and Chillies from the Soudance Crew, Camy, Qiss, Ella and Ezzy of the Spotlight programme, Honeymine, Asyraf Hardy and Sonar Instinct.
The crowd were also entertained with performances by Anak Seni Kota Samarahan (ASKOSA), Badan Warisan Budaya Mukah and Kumpulan Kesenian Jabatan Kesenian dan Kebudayaan Negara.
Youth Development Assistant Minister Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah who was guest of honour,gave away the prizes to winners of the Southern Zone Band Showdown.
‘Paralyzed’stole the night with RM1,000 in winnings, followed by second-placed ‘Enigma’(RM700) and ‘MGST’(RM500) third.
