KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah yesterday granted an audience to the Deputy President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Thi Doan, at Istana Negara here.
The half-an-hour audience was held at the Dewan Seri Mahkota.
Also present was the Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia, Nguyen Hong Thao.
His Majesty later granted an audience to the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga at the Dewan Seri Maharaja, Istana Negara.
The two leaders were here in conjunction with the Global Summit of Women (GSW) 2013 held here beginning yesterday until tomorrow.
The three-day summit themed ‘Women: Creating New Economies’ attracted more than 80 speakers from all over the world to share their experiences pertaining to women in business. — Bernama
