SIPITANG: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman visited the Sabah Ammonia Urea (SAMUR) project in Sipitang, on Saturday.
Petronas executive vice-president cum chief operating officer of Petronas downstream business Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin briefed Musa on the project.
Musa was also given a guided tour of the project site which is 46 per cent completed.
Among those present were Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Industrial Development Datuk Raymond Tan and his Assistant Minister Datuk Bolkiah Haji Ismail, Minister of Special Functions Datuk Teo Chee Kang, Assistant Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment Kamarlin Haji Ombi who is Lumadan assemblyman, MP for Sipitang Datuk Sapawi Haji Ahmad, Sindumin assemblyman Datuk Ahmad Bujang, heads of departments and senior officers from Petronas.
Meanwhile in Kota Kinabalu, Musa and wife Datin Seri Hajah Faridah Haji Tussin attended a dinner reception hosted by the Police Special Branch department at Pacific Sutera, last night.
Also present were Bukit Aman Kuala Lumpur Special Branch director Datuk Seri Akhil Bulat and several State Special Branch chiefs and senior officers from Bukit Aman and their wives.
