KOTA KINABALU: A foreigner was charged in the Sessions Court here yesterday with having illicit oral sex with his female co-worker.
Tajdeen Sheik Mohamed, 37, an Indian national, allegedly put his penis into the mouth of the 32-year-old victim on June 15 this year at the workers’ quarters in Likas.
Tajdeen, who was represented by counsel Alex Lee, pleaded not guilty before judge Azreena Aziz to the charge under Section 377A of the Penal Code, which carries up to 20 years’ imprisonment and whipping on conviction.
Azreena fixed trial for Tajdeen on Nov 13-15 this year, and denied bail for the accused on the grounds that the victim is his colleague.
DPP Aida Jaafar Mad Ariff earlier said that the accused’s passport is currently held by the Immigration Department for verification purposes.
