“With more than 300 Smart Reader Kids® and Smart Reader Kids++® centres locally and another 150 centres globally, many have expressed their interest to visit us, to derive lessons on how we effectively promote and develop our system.

“Furthermore, being here has enabled us to have a good sharing experience and provided an ideal platform for us to promote Smart Reader Kids® as a global product in the international arena, in line with our theme for this year that is we nurture world leaders and we aspire to be global educators.

“With the many positive steps taken this year, we are certain we are moving towards this direction,” she added.

Over the years, Smart Reader® Worldwide has achieved remarkable growth, locally and globally, garnering prestigious accolades and recognitions awarded by numerous organisations.

While its presence has changed the landscape of early childhood education in Malaysia, the brand has also clearly become a household name for many families, particularly those who seek a preschool that offers holistic education and a solid foundation for their young ones.

Evidently, the esteemed reputation that Smart Reader Kids® has built since its establishment has led to the development of the Smart Reader Kids Islamic™ – Smart Tadris™ programme to meet the growing demand in this area.

The programme was recently launched at Dewan Warisan, Jalan Kolam, Kangar, Perlis by the Royal Patron of Smart Reader Kids Islamic™, HRH Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, Raja Muda Perlis and his royal consort Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil, Raja Puan Muda Perlis.

Developed to inculcate a strong foundational understanding among the children and to foster an ardent interest in Islamic education while they are still in pre-school, the curriculum was developed in collaboration with prominent experts from Masjid Negara and reviewed by Jabatan Mufti Perlis. Zakariah Isa, the Imam Besar of Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan, serves as the advisor for Smart Reader Kids Islamic™.

Similar to the curriculum offered at Smart Reader Kids® and Smart Reader Kids++® centres nationwide, the curriculum for Smart Tadris™ incorporates Smart Reader® subjects namely, Smart Reader™ English, Smart Math™, Smart Bacaan™ and Smart Science™ to ensure it remains in line with Kurikulum Standard Prasekolah Kebangsaan (KSPK) and Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah (KSSR).

For a well-rounded Islamic education, the curriculum implements J-QAF and includes subjects such as Iqra’, Quran, Ibadah, Aqidah, Akhlak, Jawi and Arabic to ensure children will be able to apply Islamic teachings in their daily life.
