Man runs amok, causes chaos in middle of road

UNDER CONTROL: Policemen trying to subdue the man.

SIBU: An Indonesian man went berserk and stood in the middle of Island Road, waving at motorists to run him down around 11.30am yesterday.

Motorists slowed down when they saw the man, who appeared to be in his 20s.

Receiving a call from some motorists, the police arrived on motorbikes and one of them accidently knocked into the foreigner.

The policemen managed to subdue him and pulled him into a five-foot-way.

When he tried to run away, police handcuffed him and drove
him to the police station where he was questioned but gave no response.

The police found a passport on him.
