What matters most right now is that investigation has been carried out in a fair and transparent manner,” he said at a press conference at the police monthly gathering at the state police headquarters in Kepayan here yesterday.

Hamza said both the police personnel, with the rank of corporal and lance corporal, have been released on police bail after their statements were taken down to facilitate investigation under Section 384 of the Penal Code and Section 32 (2) of the Firearms Act 1960.
