TAWAU: Two warehouses and a grocery store at Sabindo here were destroyed by fire early yesterday but no casualties were reported.
The district Fire and Rescue Department received a distress call at 1.48am and sent 36 personnel in three fire engines plus a lorry and two land cruisers to the scene.
The team arrivedat 1.50am and put the fire under control at 3.52am, while the operation was completed at 11.48am.
The total estimated loss and cause of fire are still under investigation.
