Buzz Hunt online competition, anyone?

KUCHING: Bintang Jaya Express Sdn Bhd in collaboration with OurYouth.my is organising a Buzz Hunt online competition from tomorrow until July 20 to promote the local public transportation.

At the start of the six-day competition, Buzz Hunt will require participants to find online clues which will be revealed on OurYouth.my’s Facebook page and Bintang Jaya Express website.

“At the end of the sixth clue, forms for submission will be available online at BintangJayaExpress.com,” said Happenings business development manager Patsda Liew during the launch of the online competition at Kuching Sentral yesterday.

According to Liew, among the objectives of the competition is to encourage youths to venture across Sarawak by land and promote the Bintang Jaya Express’ website for online bookings.

“Those with the most correct answers and the most creative slogan will be selected as the winners of this competition,” added Liew.

She also announced the list of prizes which consists of an Ipad mini for the first prize, Ipod nano for second place and an Ipod Shuffle for third place. Ten consolation prizes consisting of free bus tickets to any destinations by Bintang Jaya Express buses will also be given away.

Meanwhile, Bintang Jaya Express Sdn Bhd director Michael Wong is optimistic that the Buzz Hunt online competition would boost their number of customers.

“Going online is also a current trend among the youths,” added Wong.

He also said that this month, the company is offering a discount of 25 per cent to those booking tickets online.

“An extra 10 per cent discount will be given to our customers who are members of OurYouth.my,” added Wong.
