SEPANG: A woman with three children, Nur Idayu Aziz, 34, believed to have been abducted by a group of Indonesians and taken to East Java a month ago, was brought home yesterday to be reunited with her family by the 1Malaysia Putera Club (KP1M).

Present to greet Nur Idayu on her arrival at the KL International Airport here today were her husband Mohd Riduan Abdul Razak, 34, and KP1M president Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, who thanked all quarters for their assistance in bringing the woman home. Abdul Azeez said the woman was detected last week in an interior area of Rambipuji, in the district of Jember, about six hours’ journey from Surabaya.

“When we found her, she was in an unconscious state. We took three days to treat her using the Islamic method.

“She is getting better now, though not fully recovered yet,” he said, adding that the rescue mission was led by KP1M secretary-general, Abdul Khalid Chairul. — Bernama
