KUALA LUMPUR: The glitch in the Road Transport Department’s computer system was resolved last Saturday and its counters have resumed operations nationwide.

An RTD spokesman said all its services have been resumed as usual, when contacted by Bernama here yesterday.

A local daily yesterday reported that the RTD’s services had been disrupted since last week and people could not renew their drivers licence and road tax in preparation for going to their hometowns for Hari Raya.

RTD director-general Datuk Ismail Ahmad was quoted as saying the problem was due to the transfer of the department’s main support system to mySIKAP. — Bernama
