AAM Borneo motorcross challenge on Sunday

READY TO RUMBLE: Members of the public are invited to come to the third round of AAM Borneo Motorcross Challenge (International Zone Series) which is on tomorrow at Bandar Baharu Limbang.

LIMBANG: The third round of the AAM Borneo Motorcross Challenge (International Zone Series) is on tomorrow at Bandar Baharu Limbang with teams from Kuching, Miri, the Peninsular, Sabah and Brunei taking part.

Secretary of Sarawak Automative Racing Sport Association (Sarsa), Lucas Tan said Limbang is hosting the event after the first and second round of competition which was held in Kuching and Miri respectively.

It is supported by Ministry of Social Development, Limbang Resident Office and the Limbang branch of Sarsa.

Tan announced that state assemblyman for Bukit Kota, Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail had donated RM10,000 and will officiate the opening ceremony at 2pm.

The event is divided into three categories namely Motorcross 125, Motorcross Open and Veteran Open.

“Although this challenge is for five regions, but we have also participants from Indonesia, Sulawesi, Java, West Kalimantan Barat,” Tan said on the event which is on from 8am to 5pm.

Members of the public are invited to come and witness the event with admission is free.
