KOTA KINABALU: Persatuan Klan Chen (Ying Chuan) Sabah Kota Kinabalu branch held the sixth installation ceremony of its committee members cum mooncake festival celebration here on Sunday.
At the event, the association chairman Chin Shu Ying said the gathering also provided an opportunity for members to meet and interact with each other.
Besides the installation ceremony, the event also saw the presentation of incentives to members’ children who performed well academically.
Chin said the association was officially registered with the Registrar of Society on February 28, 2002 and had its first activity on April 21 of the same year.
He urged more people of the Chen clan to join the association in order to unite the clan.
Persatuan Klan Chen (Ying Chuan) Sabah Kota Kinabalu branch also celebrated the opening of its office in Inanam on Sunday afternoon.
