BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: A Bruneian couple was produced in court yesterday to face a charge of committing culpable homicide not amounting to murder in connection with the death of a three-year-old girl, Borneo Bulletin reported.
Senior Magistrate Haji Nabil Daraina PD Ustaz Hj Badaruddin yesterday granted DPP Shamshuddin Haji Kamaluddin’s application for the defendants whom the police requested not to be named yet, to be remanded as police investigations continue.
The suspects were alleged to have committed the crime sometime between September 13 and 14, 2013 in Brunei Darussalam. The court fixed the case for further mention on September 30, 2013. –AFP
