Fans hope for Crocs’ rebound

SOLID SUPPORT: The Crocs’ fans are expecting nothing but a win from their favourite home in their Malaysia Cup match against Perak at State Stadium, Petra Jaya tonight.

KUCHING: Sarawak Football Fans Club (SFFC) president Peter Moni Selat had expressed hope for today’s Malaysia Cup match between the Crocs and Perak will not be the last for the year.

Despite suffering their first ever defeat in the Malaysia Cup campaign, the fans’ confidence and undivided support towards their home team are still solid as a rock.

“We have a good season and we are confident that the Crocs can go further beyond the group stages… all we need now is to have faith in them, be optimistic about our chances,” he enthused.

Peter commented that Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) did the right thing by retaining Robert Alberts services as head coach as he believed that the Dutchman can take the Crocs forward.

According to him, SFFC members are looking forward to the Super League next year and are hoping for the Crocs to continue their magical run.

Commenting on tonight’s match, Peter expressed hoped for Sarawak fans to show good sportsmanship and not to create any havoc.

“As for tonight, all we want is for Sarawak to let their football do their talking and shut Perak and their fans up… we sure hope no unwanted incidents happen during the match,” he added.
