FREE MOVIE PASSES GIVE-AWAY: Readers redeeming their free movie passes at the See Hua Marketing office counter.

KUCHING: A long queue of movie goers was seen at the See Hua Marketing Sdn Bhd office at Jalan Pending to redeem their free movie passes for ‘Detective Conan: Private Eye in the Distant Sea’ yesterday.

The 152 complimentary tickets were given to The Borneo Post and See Hua Daily News readers who participated in a write-up on the movie featured in either of both newspapers.

The movie will be screened at Golden Screen Cinemas at CityONE Megamall at 10.30am on Sept 28.

‘Detective Conan: Private Eye in the Distant Sea’ tells the story of Jimmy Judo, a prodigious young detective who was inadvertently transformed into a child after being poisoned.

The movie is set on a state-of-the-art Aegis vessel with the full cooperation of Japan’s real life Ministry of Defence and Maritime Self-Defence Force.

The corpse of a Self-Defence Force member is found, missing a left arm, and a spy has infiltrated the Aegis Vessel.

The heroine Ran is put in jeopardy, and Conan is forced to stand up against the dangerous ‘Spy X’.

This promotion is held in conjunction with the 10th Japanese Film Festival 2013.
