KAPIT: Police here are trying to locate Lawrence Luton to assist with the investigation of a snatch theft case turned violent last month.
His last known address is Lot 208, Pujut Corner, 98000 Miri.
On Sept 16, a woman in her 30s lost her handbag to a snatcher and was punched in front of the Borneo Mini Supermarket, Mega Mall here at 2.45am.
She was on her way back from Kapit Hospital when the suspect allegedly confronted her and snatched her bag.
The woman struggled with the snatcher and was punched as a result, requiring treatment at Kapit Hospital.
The case is being investigated under Section 394 and 323 of the Penal Code.
