KUCHING: PBB Youth will be presenting three resolutions during the PBB Convention, which will be held Oct 18 to 22.

Its chief Datuk Fadillah Yusof said the three resolutions were drawn from the 116 resolutions received from all PBB Youth branches across the state.

They cover various aspects such as economics, politics, and education.

“The three finalised resolutions are quite reasonable as they affect the Bumiputeras of Sarawak. For example, in education, we will focus on putting vocational and technical education as a preparation for students to compete in the working world,” he told a press conference at PBB headquarters on Friday.

On the political resolution, Fadillah said the resolution would focus on positioning PBB and the Barisan Nasional (BN) on the stronger footing, and to ensure that the party would continue to be relevant in the future.

“We will look at the challenges faced by the party for the years to come, and how we can improve relations with other BN component parties.”

On the economic resolution, he explained that its main focus was to help the Bumiputeras compete with others and at the same time ensure that Bumiputera businesses in the state were expanded.

On another matter, Fadillah expressed his gratitude and promised his best for the party after winning the Youth chief seat uncontested for the third term.

He said it was the duty of everyone in the party, including him, to serve the people.
