LIMBANG: Sarawak football fans in Limbang unable to go Kuching this Saturday can gather to watch the live TV telecast.

Sarawak will take on Pahang in the final leg of the Malaysia Cup semi-final at Stadium Negeri on October 26.

A big TV screen will be installed for public viewing of the match at Dataran Jubli Emas starting at 7.30 pm.

This was disclosed by Limbang Football Association (LFA) chairman Dr. Abdul Rahman Ismail when contacted yesterday.

He, his deputy Alidin@Brahim Tawar and LFA exco members will join local fans to watch the televised game at the town square.

Dr. Abdul Rahman who is state assemblyman for Bukit Kota, expressed optimism that Sarawak could overcome the 1-3 loss to Pahang in the first leg in Kuantan last week.

“With Ngap Sayot spirit and the PBB convention going on, I am confident that Sarawak will play with their utmost skills against Pahang on October 26,” he predicted.

He urged fans in Limbang to come out in full force to watch the match at Dataran Jubli Emas together.

Admission is free.

The special arrangement is organized jointly by LFA, the State Sports Council (Limbang) and the Malaysian Information Department.
