KOTA KINABALU: Novotel Kota Kinabalu at 1Borneo hypermall here recently played host to the Asia New Star Model Contest 2014 finalists, judges, organisor and crew.
Led by international model and actress Amber Chia, the finalists of the reality show were photographed and filmed in several locations in the city including the central fish market showcasing Malaysian designer Keith Kee’s creations.
According to Novotel Kota Kinabalu at 1Borneo general manager Jacques Leizerovici, the prestigious event was a good platform to showcase the beauty of Sabah in particular the city as the finalists had undergone photo shoots in the city as part of their professional training and preparation for the final show later in the month.
“Novotel Kota Kinabalu 1Borneo is very excited and proud to be part of the prestigious event. We are supportive of this event as we want to assist Sabahan entrepreneurs and Amber as a Sabahan, will get our assistance,” he said during a press conference yesterday to introduce the 12 finalists,” he added.
