KUALA LUMPUR: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah yesterday visited Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital, here.
Tuanku Abdul Halim arrived at the hospital at 10am together with the Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tuanku Hajah Haminah and they were received by officers of the ministry and Gleneagles Hospital.
The King and Queen spent about half an hour visiting Hishammuddin, who is also acting transport minister.
Hishammuddin, 52, was warded at the hospital on Monday after undergoing angioplasty, a procedure used to open narrow or blocked coronary (heart) arteries.
He had earlier gone to the hospital for a medical check-up before being detected to have a heart problem. — Bernama
