The donations were presented by Bakti president Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, to Teratai president Datuk Khatijah Ibrahim, Juita honorary treasurer T Rajini, Serikandi president Toh Puan Seri Norliza Mahmud and Penawar president Datin Sri Khamarzan Ahmad Meah in a simple ceremony here yesterday.

Rosmah, who is Prime Minister’s wife, also presented RM20,000 to the family members of Malaysia Battalion 5 (Malbatt 5)

personnel who were killed or injured during the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (Unifil) peacekeeping mission last August.

Of the total, RM10,000 were presented to Aliza Ariffin, the wife of Sergeant Rosdi Mohamad Zan, RM5,000 to Jamilah Yusoff, the mother of Lance Corporal Mohamad Aizuwan Atan, and another RM5,000 to Taib Paiman, the father of Lance Corporal Nur Syahied Taib.
